🧠 AI Builder Wanted (CS Grad Who Refuses to Be “Just a Developer”)

Full-timeCumilla / Remote0-2 yearsFair BD + equity for performance

Location: Cumilla / Remote Type: Full-time, full-ownership, full-send Experience: 0–2 years (fresh grads welcome if you've built actual things) Salary: Fair for Bangladesh. Not your cousin-in-Dubai's salary.

đź‘‹ First, some honesty

We're a tiny startup. Like, really tiny. The kind where the founder makes chaa, writes code, fixes bugs, and replies to customer emails — sometimes simultaneously.

We're building AI solutions — real ones, for real users, using real LLMs (not the "we added a chatbot" kind). Agents, pipelines, RAG systems, LLM-powered products. The stuff that was sci-fi two years ago and is now your Tuesday.

We're not hiring an "employee." We're looking for the second brain of this company.

If you want a stable 9-to-6, a manager who drops Jira tickets on your head, and a team of 40 to hide inside — please, lovingly, click away.

Still reading? Cool. Let's talk.

🎓 Baseline You Should Have

We're flexible on years, strict on substance. Roughly:

  • Solid programming fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, OOP. You can write a function without having a panic attack.
  • At least one language you're genuinely comfortable in — Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, whatever. Bonus if it's Python or JS/TS (that's most of our stack).
  • Git hygiene — branches, PRs, commit messages that aren't just "fix".
  • Databases — basic SQL, you understand what a JOIN does and why NoSQL exists.
  • APIs — you've consumed REST APIs, maybe built a couple. You know what JSON is and why everyone hates CORS.
  • Web basics — HTML/CSS/JS, at least enough to not run away from a frontend task.
  • At least one experiment with LLMs — used OpenAI/Claude/Gemini API, built a toy RAG, played with LangChain, wrote prompts that worked (and a lot that didn't). Even a weekend project counts.
  • Good English — reading docs, writing PRs, explaining yourself in async messages.

Nice-to-haves (not required, just makes us smile):

  • FastAPI / Flask / Next.js / React
  • Basic cloud (AWS / GCP / DO) — "I deployed a thing once" counts
  • Docker, even just docker run level
  • Experience with vector databases, embeddings, or agent frameworks
  • Contributed to open source (yes, we check)

🚀 What You'll Actually Do

  • Build AI solutions from scratch — LLM pipelines, agents, RAG systems, AI-powered web apps.
  • Use every shiny AI tool in existence (Claude, Cursor, Codex, v0, Gemini, you name it) to build things that would've taken a team of 5 last year.
  • Own features end-to-end — "hmm, what if..." → design → code → deploy → "oops it's on fire" → fix.
  • Handle the entire SDLC: requirements → architecture → code → tests → CI/CD → deployment → monitoring.
  • Wrestle with prompts, token limits, hallucinations, and that one edge case that only breaks in production at 3am.
  • Talk to users. Yes, actual humans.
  • Pitch in on product, design, and occasionally the strategy doc the founder is panicking about.

🧬 Who You Are

  • Genuinely excited about AI — not just because it's trendy, but because you've been playing with it at 1am and can't stop.
  • You treat AI tools like a power glove, not a crutch.
  • You've shipped something. Anywhere. A side project. A hackathon win. A Chrome extension you made for your cat.
  • Clear communicator. Bonus points if you can explain a bug to a non-technical founder without either of you crying.
  • Entrepreneur energy: see a problem → fix it, no permission needed.
  • Okay being wrong. Often. Publicly. That's how you get good.
  • Here to learn, build, and grow — not to pad a resume.

đź™… Who You're NOT

  • The person whose life plan is "grind LeetCode → land remote US job → disappear."
  • The person who asks "is this in my job description?"
  • The person who needs a PM to translate English into tasks.
  • The person who's scared of the main branch.
  • The person who thinks "prompt engineering" is beneath them.
  • The person who copies from ChatGPT without understanding what it gave them.

đź’° The Money Talk

Fair Bangladesh salary. Competitive for a startup our size.

🎯 Perform well → You get equity. Period.

Not "let's have a conversation someday." If you prove you're the real deal in the first few months, you become a stakeholder in the company. Your wins become literally yours.

Plus:

  • Insane learning velocity — especially in AI, where the field changes weekly.
  • Real ownership. Your code ships to real users. This week.
  • Zero bureaucracy.
  • Front-row seat to building an AI company from zero.
  • Flexibility — Cumilla-based or remote.

🧪 How to Apply

No cover letter. Send:

  1. A thing you built. GitHub, demo, screenshot. Bonus if AI/LLM-related. Tell us why and what broke.
  2. A 60-second Loom / voice note / text rant: Why this job, not a "safer" one?
  3. One opinion about AI tools most people would disagree with.

P.S. — If you're already on a quiet Tuesday night building something weird with Claude and three APIs duct-taped together… yeah, we should talk.

Think you're the one?
